Tiggs is a sweet and gentle cat at heart, but he’s not the kind of pet who will instantly fit into every home.

Once Tiggs learns to trust you, he becomes a quiet companion who enjoys cuddling close and purring softly beside you. He has a playful side too and will happily engage with toys, especially if you make time to play with him daily. He absolutely loves treats and isn’t shy about reminding you when he wants one.

Tigs has had a difficult past and will need a patient, understanding adopter who can give him consistency and respect his boundaries. He can become overstimulated with too much petting and may nip, but he does give signals once you get to know him.

He would do best in an adult-only home. He has not been tested with children, cats, or dogs, and would likely thrive as the only pet in a calm environment.

Tiggs can be particular about his litter box habits and prefers a very clean setup. If not maintained to his standards, he may choose other spots (like sinks or counters), so a dedicated routine and possibly a covered litter box are recommended. He also enjoys digging in his litter, which can get messy, so regular cleaning is part of caring for him.

Tigs isn’t a “low-maintenance” cat—but for the right person who understands him, he has a lot of quiet affection to give.

- prefers dry food over wet food

- Doesn’t use cardboard scratcher prefers sisal rope/fabric (likes to scratch on carpet too)

- He doesn’t eat plastic, and weird stuff but he goes crazy for any plant looking materials (so christmas tree, fake flowers, real flowers so please keep it away from him)

- Doesn’t knock over stuff
