Meet Simba! This big handsome senior boy, is a very calm easy going cat with a great dispostion.

He is a very friendly affectionate boy who will make himself at home very quickly and loves attention. He loves to give head butts, loves face/ears scratches, back scratches, and tummy rubs.

Simba has great litter tray habits and is a very clean cat. He loves catnip toys, all kinds of scratchers, and will play with some cat toys like springs, boinks and wands if you get him started with them and he's in a playful mood.

Simba is a very sensitive boy when it comes to food and has food allergies. He is currently eating Performatrin Ultra Ocean kibble and this has been the one kibble that does not irritate his skin. If Simba eats anything he's sensitive to he will get little welts on his skin that he scratches, which makes him have sores. It has taken many months to figure out exactly what works with him and a complete fish diet seems to do the trick. He loves freeze dried Whitefish, freeze dried Minnows, and can have wet food as long as it's fish based only.

Simba is ok with other cats but doesn't need another cat in the home as he loves people more. He has been introduced to dogs in the foster home and had no issues with them. He has only been around teenagers and we are not sure how he would be with younger children.

Simba would do well with a family that either has a catio and is willing to take him on leashed walks or has a safe outdoor space for him. He loves the catio in the foster home and we think he would harness train very quickly.

Simba is a wonderful sweet older boy who deserves a family who will love him for the rest of his life.
