Aladdin (now named Joey) is a friendly, approximately 2.5 year old cat who is a great feline companion in a home with no other cats. Joey is very personable and always wants to be in the same room as us. He “talks” to us when we talk to him but is otherwise very quiet and well behaved. Joey can startle at loud noises and sudden moments and has hissed defensively at my teenage sons when he was startled. He would probably do best in a quieter home, or a home with people who will be patient with him and continue helping him build trust in people. Joey loves to snuggle onto a warm lap when the room is quiet. He has excellent litter habits and likes dry kibble, wet food and churus. Joey gets the zoomies most evenings and enjoys playing with a wand or other toys, but tires out a little quicker than a kitten! He also really loves jumping up on window sills and other high places. We were told that he has nipped/bitten people before but he has not bitten any of us since we have had him. He is a very independent cat and will do best with a family that will respect his independence.
