This beautiful, sweet lady is looking for a second chance at her furever family. She travelled all the way from Nunavut to Manitoba with her bonded brother, who unfortunately passed away recently, and then Emma made her way to BC. She is still figuring out what life looks like without her brother, and just needs someone to love her. She has the softest meow, loves to talk to you and follow you from room to room when she’s not napping in her favourite hiding spots. Once she warms up to you, she is incredibly easy to love; she enjoys pets, treats, being brushed, and drinking water, especially fresh from the tap! She likes to lay on your lap or chest when she’s in the mood as well, she’s becoming quite the snuggle bug.

Emma is an incredible, sweet, mature cat who would do well in a quieter home. She has the potential to be with other pets who can respect her space when she needs it. She is never violent, she just gives a warning hiss when another animal is too close. She would need very slow introductions, but ideally a home where she is the only pet is going to be the best option for her, as she absolutely loves people. She would do well with older kids who know how to respect her space.

Her playful side is slowly starting to come out, she likes feather toys and the laser pointer so far!
