Meet Draco, our gorgeous little house panther with big curious eyes and an even bigger sense of caution. 🖤

Draco is currently one of the more timid members of the group and is still figuring out this whole living-with-humans thing. Right now, Draco prefers to observe the world from a safe spot before deciding whether something deserves further investigation. But don’t mistake that hesitation for a lack of curiosity — Draco is very curious and definitely wants to know what everyone is doing, just preferably from a comfortable distance first!

Draco is still learning that people, new sounds, and unfamiliar situations don’t have to be scary. Each day brings a little more confidence, and with some extra time, patience, and consistency, I think there is a wonderful personality waiting to fully emerge.

Draco’s forever family will need to understand that this little one may not walk through the door on day one ready to be picked up and cuddled. Trust will need to be earned slowly and on Draco’s terms. A quieter environment, gentle interactions, lots of play, and the freedom to explore without pressure will help tremendously.

The best part about adopting a shy kitten is getting to celebrate all those little milestones — the first time they approach you, play without worrying, or decide that maybe humans aren’t so bad after all.

Draco just needs someone willing to give them that chance. With a little more time and a lot of love, I think Draco will settle beautifully into the right forever home. 🖤🐾
