Meet Pixie!

This special sweet friendly boy is looking for his forever family.

Pixie and his brothers were born in the garage on a local property where they were kept safe and cared for.

Pixie was the smallest in his litter but had the biggest ears. His size didn't keep him from keeping up with his brothers and the other cats in his foster home though. He loves to wrestle, climb and run around with his foster siblings. He loves all kinds of toys, like furry toy mice, springs, mesh tubes, wands, ball towers, and ping pong balls. He also is great at using any kind of scratcher and loves them all.

Pixie likes to cuddle and purrs as soon as you pick him up but if he's in a playful mood then play always comes first and he'll wiggle to be let go so he can run around. He's learnt that kisses are great and tummy rubs are the best.

He loves wet food, loves raw food even more and he is good at eating his kibble. He has great litter tray habits and overall is a very clean boy.

He's been around many other cats of all different ages and temperaments and does great with all of them. He's also been around multiple dogs of different sizes and temperaments and is great with them too.

He has only been around an older teenage, and we feel would not do well with smaller children.

Pixie has never been alone and he definitely needs another cat in the home as he wouldn't do well alone. He would do best with a cat that can match his energy but one who isn't too rough.

Pixie has some development issues, where his right hip joint has not developed as fast as the rest of his body. He does have a slight limp that can be a little more pronounced when he's tired but he doesn't seem to be in any pain. He has seen multiple vets and had multiple x-rays done which have been seen by a specialist and all agree to wait until he is fully grown to fully assess if anything is needed. So far his development issues have not affected how he plays, how he interacts with other animals or people and some days you can't even tell there's something going on with his hip. This is something that would need to be revisited by a vet once he is fully grown if issues arise, unfortunately at this point we do not know what the outcome may be but until then he is very good at knowing his limits and when he needs to rest. This is why he does need a buddy that will play with him but not one that will jump on him and not know when to stop. Ideally he would do best with a buddy that's on the smaller slim side, like him.

If you're looking for a slim, long legged, pretty silver/grey tabby with big ears and a big heart that sometimes walks a little different then Pixie is your boy.
