Daisy is a beautiful, intelligent survivor with a heart full of love. Once she feels safe and secure, she becomes incredibly affectionate and actively seeks attention from her people.

Daisy's journey has not been an easy one and she experienced abuse and abandonment. Fortunately, a compassionate person rescued her on a cold winter day, providing the warmth, food, and kindness she desperately needed. In return, Daisy revealed her remarkable capacity for love, loyalty, and trust. This amazing girl showed that even after hardship, she is capable of forming deep and meaningful bonds with people.

Since her rescue, Daisy has made a remarkable turnaround. Initially, she was reactive to unfamiliar people, dogs, and cats because they made her feel fearful and uncertain. Through patient, gradual introductions to everyone in her household, Daisy began to flourish. Her playful nature, affectionate personality, and intelligence quickly emerged as she learned that she was finally safe. As she becomes more confident in her space, she has also become braver and more curious. She likes to chat with and follow her humans around and will try and go out the door with them as she hates to be left behind. She also loves the catio and will leisurely lounge on her preferred sun-soaked bed, watching birds and catching bugs.

While Daisy tolerates her furry roommates, she would likely be happiest as the only pet in the home or in a small quiet household with pets that will respect her space and boundaries.

Daisy is looking for a patient, understanding family willing to continue to support her transition to a loving and entertaining companion. In return, she will reward that kindness with unwavering devotion, companionship, and love.
