Meet Yogurt!

Yogurt is gentle, loving, and perfect in every way. She’s a small girl with big paws, who loves everyone she meets and is wonderful with kids. She’s also amazing with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful dog friend to keep her busy. She’s even met a cat and did great (just a little nervous at first).

She’s fully house-trained, walks beautifully on leash, and loves running and playing off leash in a fenced yard. She would not be suited for off-leash adventures in open areas. While she is great in the car, she does get carsick and prefers not to travel much, so she’s definitely not a road-trip kind of girl.

She does have a few quirks that make her extra special. Yogurt is nervous of elevators, stairs, and going through certain doorways, and needs to be picked up and carried. Because of this, she may not be the best match for someone with physical limitations. With patience and gentle encouragement, she’ll gain more confidence in time.

She is still very much a puppy and has that curious, mischievous energy! She loves to play and does sometimes play-bite, but she listens well when corrected. She’s a big chewer, too. If left alone, she’ll find things to chew, so supervision is key! Yogurt also loves food and thinks human food is meant to be shared, so she is working on her table manners.

She does wonderfully in her crate for a few hours at a time, but wouldn’t be suited for a home where she’s crated or left alone for most of the day. An ideal home would be with someone who works from home, or has a flexible schedule and plenty of time to spend with her.

When playtime’s over, she’s the ultimate cuddler. She loves nothing more than to be curled up on the couch beside her human, getting pets, giving kisses, and watching the TV.

I believe she’d do great in almost any home, whether it’s a family with well-behaved kids, someone with another playful pup, or an active single person who loves getting out and about.
