Meet River — your future best friend, loyal sidekick, and part-time chaos gremlin. This sweet-and-sassy puppy is equal parts cuddle bug and comedian, always ready to keep you smiling. River absolutely adores her people and will happily follow you from room to room like your very own four-legged assistant. If belly rubs are involved, she’s all in — she considers them an essential part of daily life.

River is already learning how to be the best pup ever. She knows how to sit, loves playing fetch, and is doing wonderfully with potty training. She’s getting better every day at giving signs when she needs to go outside. She also sleeps quietly in her crate overnight and settles nicely there when home alone.

Like any growing puppy, River is still polishing up her manners. She sometimes forgets that human hands are not puppy playmates, and her little shark teeth can get a bit enthusiastic during playtime. With patience, consistency, and redirection, she’s making great progress and is eager to learn.

River is currently being fostered with a 7-year-old child and absolutely loves having a playmate, though she does best with reminders to keep her excitement under control. She also spends her days trying very hard to convince the resident cats to join her games… even if the cats are completely uninterested in her plans.

This lovable girl is searching for a home that will continue helping her grow into a well-mannered companion while embracing all the goofy, affectionate puppy energy she brings.
