Max is a high energy puppy, the alpha of his litter. He really enjoys morning and evening walks and loves hiking. Very high stamina and will lead the way on any adventure. He is ok with larger children who can control his high energy, smaller kids may need help keeping him down and remind him not to play or bite too hard. He does like to get into things and chew and needs reminders to stop digging, but takes direction well. He has excellent recall and has learned to sit and stay, and will generally heel on walks with reminders. Very food motivated, but has learned to be patient when being given food, and will allow you to interrupt feeding. He can be shy on walks when approached by some people or dogs, but is polite in his interactions.
