Meet Magnolia 🌸

Magnolia is a confident, affectionate little girl with a big personality. She loves being with her people and will happily follow us around to see what we’re doing. She’s playful, curious, smart and quite the little conversationalist — she loves to “talk” to us, but interestingly, when the other dogs start barking, Magnolia doesn’t feel the need to join in!

She is currently living with three older dogs who aren’t particularly interested in having a puppy around, and she is doing a wonderful job navigating their boundaries. Magnolia reads their signals, gives them space when necessary, and still holds out hope that eventually someone will agree to play with her! She has also met the cats and has shown only gentle curiosity toward them.

Magnolia has also had the opportunity to spend time with younger children and was wonderfully loving and gentle with them. She enjoyed their attention and showed us what a sweet, affectionate little girl she can be with kids.

Magnolia has a lovely balance of confidence and independence. She sleeps quietly on her own in the puppy room all night and doesn’t wake until she hears us in the morning. During the day, although she loves being wherever we are, she will happily take herself off to her room when she wants a quiet nap.

She goes outside to do her business when the door is left open for her. At night she has pee pads if she needs to use them. She isn’t particularly food motivated and prefers to graze rather than gobble down her meals.

And then there’s her affectionate side. ❤️ Magnolia is a wonderful cuddler and gives lots of kisses. She wants to be close to her people and has so much love to give.

Her siblings have found their families, and now this smart, funny, loving and wonderfully confident little girl is ready to find hers. 🌸
