Lady is such a sweetheart and such a smart dog.

She is cautious of strangers and takes a bit of time and a few treats to warm up and trust you but once she does she is the best snuggler.

She is great with larger dogs and loves to run and play but also respectful of smaller dogs and senior grumpy dogs that just want her to leave them alone even allowing them to eat her food first if they choose to. She likes cats and will happily cuddle with them but will also play chase til they say they have had enough. She would love a family with a furry friend to play with.

She is clever … very very clever and has figured out how to open outward opening doors with a lever handle and is trying to figure out the inward ones ( getting pretty close too ) More than once she has shown up in her fosters room at night to take her place on the bed with the other pets to sleep.

She is also a jumper ! You wouldn’t think this 35 lb bundle of energy could jump so high .. but she can ! Easily clearing a 3 1/2 ft barrier like it was a mere speed bump. A fenced yard is a must. She loves to run and would do great in agility classes.

She is great with kids of all ages and does well on a leash but still pulls a bit at times and needs more training. Lady is also calm and content in the car and loves going for rides as well.

She is house trained but not very good at letting her people know it’s time to go. She will stand quietly at the door or come give you attention which is hard to differentiate from her usual affectionate self .. … then she gives up and has an accident by the door. Until she learns a better clearer signal, her new family will need to watch for her mostly silent signals.

A gentle good natured lady … just needing a forever family to call her own.
