Kai is one very handsome little husky with a wonderful combination of confidence, intelligence and affection.

He is the more adventurous of the two siblings and is happy to head off and explore on his own. But don’t let that independent streak fool you—Kai is also a real sweetheart. He loves to settle into a lap for a snuggle and gives the softest, gentlest kisses.

Kai is smart, curious and very attentive. He and his sister Miki have the most entertaining way of playing together. They chase, hide and actually stop to listen for where the other one has gone before jumping out and starting the game all over again! For two husky puppies, they are surprisingly quiet while they play.

Kai isn’t particularly food motivated and eats peacefully alongside his sister with no aggression. Both pups will even wait quietly for a treat.

He has been wonderful during a brief visit with four children and would very much like to make friends with the resident big dog—even if the feeling isn’t quite mutual yet! His introduction to cats has been cautious and non-aggressive.

Kai travels well in the car and sleeps quietly through the night with Miki in their puppy room, only letting us know they’re awake when they hear us up in the morning. They use pee pads overnight but much prefer doing their business outside during the day—and have already chosen their favourite spot!

Handsome, clever, adventurous and affectionate, Kai is a pretty special little boy. ❤️
