Jellybean is a true people's dog who greets everyone, strangers and kids included, with a wagging tail and a big happy smile. She has even learned that jumping isn't part of the welcome. She is happiest cuddled up with her person, resting her head on your knees or sleeping on your feet, and she is a smart, quick learner who figures out what you want from her fast, though she has been known to find a loophole in the rules.
Like any puppy, Jellybean is still learning. She is working on mouthing, and plenty of teething toys help. She is okay on leash but still learning to let her human lead. She is an energetic girl who loves to play, run and explore, so she needs a good outdoor routine or indoor exercise to stay happy. She also loves to dig, which exercise helps reduce, and a designated digging spot in the yard would suit her well. She has a strong prey drive toward cats and rabbits, so a home without small pets is the safest match. She is very friendly with other dogs, and that has been tested.
Jellybean sleeps through the night in her crate (6 to 7 hours) and often chooses to nap in it during the day. She goes to the door or barks when she needs to pee, doesn't use pads, and doesn't bark for no reason, which makes her a great fit for condo living. She'll do best with an active person who has lots of cuddles to give.
