When Whoopie first arrived in BC after a long journey from Winnipeg, she was absolutely terrified. She spent her first few weeks hiding and hissed whenever she saw humans. But with patience, time, and a lot of treats, Whoopie blossomed into an incredibly loving, entertaining, and affectionate companion.

Whoopie is a proud, independent girl who values consent. She will happily beg for pets and cuddle up next to you, but she expects her human to read her cues. Because she is fast with a corrective swat when her boundaries are crossed, she needs an adults or teens-only home.

Once she trusts you, her goofy personality be be on display! She loves playing with wand toys, lounging in high window seats to watch he outside world and burrowing under soft blankets.

Whoopie coexists well with other cats, provided they respect her personal space. She would love a furever home with a gentle, calm cat friend to groom and snuggle with, but energetic kittens or any cat that insists on social play time are a hard "no." If you are a cat-savvy adopter who respects body language, you could be just who she needs. Whoopie is ready to fill your life with endless laughter and love.
