Sparks has a bright, sparkly personality that sparks joy in everyone who meets her.

With her big intelligent eyes and compact loaf-like body, Sparks is as adorable as she is endearing. Her progress in foster care has been truly remarkable, and it is clear that this sweet girl simply wants to be loved.

Sparks and her companions were rescued from a barn where an owl posed a constant threat.

Thanks to the kindness and quick actions of her rescuers, she is now discovering the safety, comfort, and love of indoor life — exactly what every cat deserves.

After only a few weeks in her foster home, Sparks has already explored every nook and cranny and enjoys staying nearby, quietly observing her human companions. When approached slowly and gently, her affectionate side shines through. She reveals her friendly nature by rubbing against nearby objects, arching her back, rolling on the floor, and holding her tail high in the air. In these calm and happy moments, she happily accepts a few gentle pets. It is easy to see that this former “feral” kitty is well on her way to becoming a cuddly and devoted companion. She is on the verge of fully embracing her soft side and simply needs a little more time, patience, and reassurance to feel completely safe. Many wonderful milestones are still ahead for her.

To continue her social journey, Sparks would thrive in a calm, comforting home where she can settle in at her own pace and let her true personality blossom. She would do wonderfully in a home with other cats, especially confident and friendly ones who can continue helping her build trust and confidence. Sparks has also met a large family dog and adjusted very well, showing just how adaptable and resilient she can be.
