Meet Wiley! He is a little knucklehead (hear me out haha). When he first came to us, he was 10months to a year old. He was super cuddly and just wanted human attention. All he wanted was to lay in our laps and get scratches and snuggles. As he got a bit older (aka a month and a bit), he started to show his personality. He started to get comfortable. This guy, he’s very independent and LOVES to play. He gets the “zoomies” (as we call it) and rips around our house. He grabs his favourite toys and carries them around as he runs around. My 4y/o daughter loves to pick him up and carry him around everywhere. He’s honestly just a goofball and he makes us laugh every day with all his little quirks and silliness. Don’t let his playfulness fool you. When he’s ready for some down time, he still loves his snuggles and attention. He loves to be scratched under his neck and on his back. He has no problem curling up with my 7y/o on the couch when we’re watching a movie. I swear he doesn’t stop purring. I have 2 cats. He tries to play with both of them. One hisses at him and he will read her signs well and backs off (most of the time haha) and the other will play with him sometimes. Either way, he’s pretty good at reading those signals (unless he has the zoomies in which he’ll just try to keep playing) so he would do fine in a house with cats if those cats are familiar with being around other cats. I also have a big, very energetic dog who loves to play and chase him. Wiley will run around and play chase, most of the time, although sometimes he will turn and hiss and maybe try and swot my dog. Wiley would do great in a home that can give him attention and loves to laugh and entertain his quirkiness/silliness whether that’s with other animals in the house or not. He’s just a silly guy and would make a great new addition to any family.
