This bonded brother/sister duo are a kitten lovers dream! They absolutely love to play, explore, wrestle, cuddle each other, and are curious while being a bit cautious
Smoke has a silky smooth coat that almost looks like shining silver when he’s in the sun. He’s the first one to come for cuddles and to sit on your lap but he usually gets his share of loving and then moves on to his own spot/bed. Smudge has a more fluffy coat with really interesting orange patterns and some white toes. She seems to have more playing stamina than Smoke so will often be playing until he settles in his spot, then she’ll come in for her own cuddle session and will often sleep in the bed with me
They’re hard to get good photos of them together as they love to wrestle so much that any time they’re together and not eating or napping, it’s wrestlemania happening
They love all their toys- spirals, balls to bat around, tunnels, feathers, you name it, they love it. They go absolutely nuts for food, especially wet food, you literally cannot get it out of the can fast enough for them and they can be messy eaters. Same for tube treats- I’ve had to empty them into their own bowls for them to lick from so they aren’t racing to see who can lick faster and not share/take turns. While Smudge loves her treats (usually dehydrated beef liver or shrimp), Smoke tends to like his crunchy treats and isn’t as interested in treats as his sister
They’ve gotten along well with my cat after a slow intro and now like my dog although they were quite nervous about her at first. Now Smudge loves to play with her fluffy tail and Smoke will often go over while she’s sleeping or laying down to sniff her nose and check in on what she’s up to
They love to cuddle and nap together, however, sometimes Smoke will try to nurse/suckle on Smudge (normal for a kitten seeking comfort the only way he knows how) and if she doesn’t appreciate it she’ll find a spot to sleep separately from him, and they’ll usually sleep separately over night
They honestly are the cutest duo that anyone would be lucky to have!
