Meet Simba and Salem. This unlikely duo formed a bond in foster care and are now best friends.

Simba is a very big handsome boy, who has a calm easy going disposition. Kittens tend to gravitate to Simba and he doesn't mind, as he makes an excellent uncle.

Salem was a very nervous kitten, and came into the rescue after being found in the engine of a truck. He straight away latched himself onto Simba and Simba helped him feel comfortable, calm and learn to trust people.

Salem is still a cat that will take time to trust new people and he will hide at first in a new situation. As long as Simba is with him though he will be fine, he just needs time. He does like head/chin scratches, and is learning belly rubs are great.

Simba is a very friendly affectionate boy who will make himself at home very quickly and loves attention. He loves to give head butts, loves face/ears scratches, back scratches, and tummy rubs.

These boys both have great litter tray habits and are very clean cats. They love to play with catnip toys, love all kinds of scratchers, they like ball towers, ping pong balls, springs, boinks and wands. Salem is the more playful of the two as he is still a kitten but Simba will get in on the playing when he's in the mood.

Simba is a very sensitive boy when it comes to food and has food allergies. Both boys are currently on Performatrin Ultra Ocean kibble and will need to stay on this food as it seems to be one that does not irritate Simba's skin. If Simba eats anything he's allergic to he will get welts on his skin and they will scab and he will start scratching making himself sore and lose fur. It has taken many months to figure out exactly what works with him and a complete fish diet seems to do the trick. He loves freeze dried Whitefish, freeze dried Minnows, and can have wet food as long as it's fish based only. Salem on the other hand can eat anything but is quite happy to eat whatever Simba is eating. He could have the odd treat that is not fish based though as long as Simba doesn't get any.

Simba and Salem love other cats and seem to get along with everybody. They have been introduced to dogs in the foster home and had no issues with them. They have only been around teenagers and would not do well with smaller children.

This sweet duo is looking for a family who can appreciate both their personalities and their friendship, are you that family?
