Raven is a gentle little boy who has already overcome so much and emerged stronger, with a quiet openness to love.

Raven and his companions were rescued from a barn where an owl posed a constant danger. Thanks to the quick actions of his rescuers, he now has the chance to experience the warmth, safety, and comfort of a loving home.

Raven pulls at your heart strings with his adorable raggedy ear and big soulful eyes. Since arriving at his foster home, he has made wonderful progress and has begun graciously accepting pets within just a couple of weeks. This sweet boy has all the potential to become a gentle loving teddy bear.

Raven can be timid at first and will need time to adjust to new surroundings. When frightened, he may hiss once or twice, but this is simply his way of protecting himself — he does not have a mean bone in his body. With patience, kindness, and a gentle approach, his softer side quickly begins to shine as he grows comfortable and learns to trust.

Raven would thrive in a quiet, understanding home where he can move at his own pace and truly blossom. He is great with other cats and has done well with his recent introduction to the family dog.

He also shares a special bond with his friend Smarty, whom he looks to for reassurance and confidence. They would love to find a home together if you have room in your heart for double the love. Alternatively, Raven would also do well with a confident, friendly cat who can help show him the ropes and continue building his trust in humans.
