Poppy is a calm, gentle, and shy cat. She is an elegant tuxedo cat with long legs and confidence. She has a little white mark under her mouth that resembles a fang.

She has a shy personality at first, then once she’s comfortable she shows her true self. She is confident, daring, loving, cuddly, and an amazing companion. She has been fast friends with another female cat. She coexists well with other adult cats but is disinterested in young kittens.

Poppy is best suited for a calm quiet home with a relaxed energy. She does very well in an adult home. She is not suited for small children. She likes someone who is gentle.

Poppy spends her day watching birds outside the window, following the household human around (cuddling at any opportunity), and sitting nearby. She enjoys quality time and being in the same room as you.

Poppy is well adjusted to the household sleep schedule and follows the human to bed at night, with the human falling asleep and waking up to her cuddled in. Poppy loves pets on her face, chin, back, and ears. She is not the biggest fan of her stomach being touched. With trust and comfortability she tolerates it. She will gently let you know when she’s had enough and will generally rub her face into your hand, directing where she wants to be touched.

She is litter trained.

She has an allergy to chicken and it upsets her stomach.

She loves drinking flowing water and likes faucet time (where the human turns the bathtub faucet on to a light dribble for her to lick.

She is attention and cuddles motivated. She loves to sleep by a window catching some sun.

Where ever you are is where she wants to be. She gets along well with other cats (prefers adult cats) with the right introduction.

Enjoys spending time indoors and has not expressed any desire to go outside. She loves looking out the window, watching the world go by.

This gentle and soft lovebug will greet you at the door and find any excuse to say hello.

She loves any form of touch, and loves kisses and chin rubs. She is not the biggest fan of being held but is comfortable being picked up.

She is quiet and gentle and wants to be involved in the working of your world.

She is not chatty but is expressive through cuddles, quality time, slow blinks, and staying nearby.

She is happiest in a calm and quiet environment with plenty of windows for bird watching.
