Meet Lyra!

This beautiful girl is the most independent and curious of her siblings. She will set off exploring on her own without hesitation. When Lyra plays, she plays hard! We’ve nicknamed her Speed Racer because of the sheer speed she does laps around the room at. Her favorite toys are springs and anything with feathers.

Lyra prefers laying right beside you and having her chin scratched. But not being grabbed and held. She wants to be close, but not smothered. If you have a fuzzy blanket she will climb up on top of you. Her favorite spot to nap is in the cat tree hammock.

Lyra has done well with our older cats and small, calm dogs and is very social with them, even if they don’t reciprocate her enthusiasm. Kibble isn’t her favorite yet, but she enjoys it soaked in warm water and mixed with her wet food.

She would do best in a home that can respect her space until she’s comfortable, and if you’re looking for a pair, she would love to be with one of her sisters!
