Meet Lorelai! This momma just wants scratches and attention! She had 4 kittens who all got adopted and now she just wants some time and attention for herself! She was such a great momma and so attentive to her kittens but she’s still young and just wants some time to herself. I don’t blame her! She loves my kids who are 4 and 7 years old. She loves getting attention from them and she allows them to pick her up (although that’s not her favourite thing). I have a dog and 2 cats but I think she would do best in a home where the attention is all on her. I don’t think she should be in a home with another cat but MIGHT be okay with a dog that’s quiet and very low energy. My dog is extremely high energy so I haven’t been able to introduce them properly. That being said, my past dog who was around majority of my foster cats and who grew up around cats would have not been phased by her and would have just laid on the ground beside her. I think she could be fine around a dog like that if properly introduced. Lorelai is just an attention seeker and just wants to be loved and scratched and played with. She loves playing with things that are quick moving so balls and toys you can string around. I put a ball in the bathtub and she goes nuts playing around with it and batting it back and forth. She’s honestly the biggest sweetheart and sweetest soul. She just wants to be loved. Her best home would be a home where she is the main focus (animal wise) and she deserves every bit of that!!
