Honey Badger is an 8-year-old grey tabby with a tender heart and a quiet soul. When he first arrived in foster care, he spent a couple of weeks hiding, taking the world in from a safe distance. He accepted chin and ear scratches, but approaching people on his own was a big step.

Now, with patience and a calm environment, Badger has warmed up beautifully. He’s still a little nervous and easily startled at times, and he may get defensive when overwhelmed—but once he feels secure, his gentle, loving side really shines.

Badger absolutely thrives in peaceful spaces. He can live happily as a solo cat or with another calm feline friend—he currently plays nicely with his foster sibling, and the two can often be found cuddling. He’s not demanding or vocal, and even when it’s mealtime, he waits quietly instead of meowing.

You’ll usually find Badger tucked into his cozy cat bed on the couch or snuggled on a soft blanket.

He has some adorable quirks too:

-If you put a box on the floor, he will sit in it, no exceptions.

-He follows his foster mom into the bathroom every time, just to keep her company.

-He loves playing iPad cat games, chasing springs, and going after a laser toy.

Badger would do best in a calm, patient home where he can take things at his own pace. Give him time, kindness, and a few comfy beds, and he’ll reward you with quiet companionship, sweet moments, and the softest presence in your home.
