Meet Happy – a gentle gentleman who is in the pursuit of happiness.

Happy is a shy, retiring type with a curious and mischievous streak.

Once Happy feels safe, he will quietly explore his surroundings like a sleek little panther. He is especially fond of disappearing into his favourite hammock, which happens to match his silky grey coat. Despite being on the larger side, Happy somehow manages to curl himself into the tiniest little ball like a chameleon blending into his favourite hammock that is probably meant for more petite cats. He has a keen curiosity towards his human friends and quizzically watching you with his intelligent and soulful eyes as you putter around the house. He has recently been introduced to a mirror and TV, both of which he is comically interested in.

Happy is still learning to trust the world, and new people or changes can make him nervous at first. But with a gentle, patient approach, he gets braver and closer each day and has even begun to accept treats and pets. He thrives with patience, kindness, and treats and he would do well in a calm, quiet home where he can take his time getting comfortable.

He gets along beautifully with other cats and can coexist peacefully with respectful dogs. Because of his gentle nature, he would likely be fine with older, calm children who understand how to approach him slowly and kindly.

After a rough start in life, Happy is more than ready to find his soft landing—a peaceful place filled with love and understanding. A confident feline friend could help him continue to blossom.
