Ember is such a sweet little orange and white kitty!

She may take a while to warm up and come out of hiding but once she does, she loves to meow at you to tell you she wants something, loves to nap on your lap or beside you on the couch and enjoys being pet on her terms (not her belly or bum/tail) and will give a warning growl if she isn’t ok with something.

She’s ok with other cat friendly cats after slow introductions once she is settled in her space, although we think she would definitely prefer being the only animal in the home to really come out of her shell with her humans.

She loves to play with wand toys, kickers, the laser pointer, and really enjoys watching cat tv! She loves her dry food and is excellent at drinking water (sometimes she even likes it fresh from the tap!) and enjoys cat nip and scratchers. She’s only just starting to eat wet food and is very picky with it. She likes small crunchy treats and she hunts the spiders in our basement suite and explores things at her own pace. Shes a very smart girl and also enjoys treat puzzles. She can be startled easily and will run and hide until she is more settled and used to her surroundings, but after a month or so, she should start to feel right at home and you’ll see more of her!

Ember came all the way from a shelter in Manitoba and is ready to find her furever home in BC!
