Meet Baby & Ella!

Baby is a small black cat who came into our foster care at three years old. An affectionate little adventurer, she loves high perches, her cat tree, and being wherever you are. Hold her close with her paws on your shoulders, and she may climb up to claim her favourite lookout!

Easygoing about being held and always happy for pets, Baby loves spending time with her people. At bedtime, she’ll happily burrow under the blankets and settle right on you—a little cuddle buddy with so much love to give. Based on our experience, she may do well with gentle, respectful children.

Baby isn’t a picky eater, but eating too much or too quickly can cause vomiting. This longstanding issue has been assessed by her vet multiple times and identified as behavioural. A slow feeder and very small, frequent meals help her pace herself.

Ella is a beautiful calico who came into our foster care at five years old. Soft, round, and an expert at loafing, she’s our affectionate little “turkey.” She welcomes you home by rising onto her back legs to give your hand the sweetest head bump.

Her favourite activities include sunbathing, lounging nearby, and enjoying treat time. She prefers being beside you rather than on your lap, but bring out a laser pointer and this relaxed girl is ready to play!

Ella enjoys pets and brief cuddles, then appreciates returning to her lounging duties. A swishing tail lets you know when she’s had enough affection. She’s selective about her meals, and we recommend a home without children where her boundaries are respected.

Both girls are social with visitors as they get comfortable and have great litter-box habits.
