Amiga 😻

A tiny ball of marmalade,

Steps softly through the light and shade.

On stubby legs and downy paws,

She hides away her gentle claws.

The wider world seems far too grand,

For someone built so close to land.

A sudden sound, a passing shoe,

And off she darts to hide from you.

But peek beneath the sofa space,

To see a glowing, sunlit face.

With amber eyes and shaking chin,

She waits for bravery to win again.

A gentle hand, a quiet word,

The softest purr is finally heard.

She ventures out on low-slung feet,

To prove that timid can be sweet.
