Meet Alfie – a Gentle Giant with a fun side

Alfie is a big, beautiful boy with a sensitive soul. This gentle sweetheart is a wonderful big brother to the other cats in his foster home and gets along well with feline friends. Though shy at first, Alfie is never anything but kind—even with little ones. Loud noises and sudden changes might startle him, but he chooses to retreat rather than react.

Once he feels safe, Alfie will slowly start to accept pets and treats. Dinner time is the best time to bond with him as he very much enjoys his food and has a funny croaky meow he uses when he wants something. He especially loves cozying up in his favorite cave-style bed, and he does best when introduced to a new home slowly—ideally starting in a smaller space with one comfy hiding spot he can call his own.

Alfie has a playful, goofy side too! Give him a toy mouse or wand toy, and he will happily chase and pounce like a big kitten.

After a tough start in life, Alfie is ready for the comfort and calm of a quiet, patient home. A confident cat friend could help him feel at ease, and he is also fine with respectful dogs.
